Tier 1 — Standard Room Rentals

Standard Room Rental rates are intended for meetings, classes, rehearsals, small gatherings, and other activities that require little to no building support and where no food or beverages are being served.

  • Cleaning the space after the event
  • Removing all personal belongings and returning the spaces to “Worship Ready”
  • Managing all aspects of their event

Standard Room Rental rates do not include rental support staff.

Optional Staff Support: $25 per hour

Available for assistance with setup, breakdown, and facility-related needs.

Weekday support is available as needed. A 4-hour minimum applies to Saturday, Sunday, and holiday staffing.

Additional Cleaning: $25 per hour

Additional cleaning charges may apply for spills, garbage removal, or other cleaning needs beyond the renter’s normal cleanup responsibilities. Any applicable cleaning charges may be deducted from the rental deposit.

Rental Support Staff

The UU Princeton rental support staff member provides building and facility support during the rental period, including assistance with facility-related needs and building closing procedures.

Rental support staff are not event planners or event coordinators and do not manage or direct the renter’s event. The renter remains responsible for planning and managing the event, including setup, event activities, cleanup, and removal of personal belongings and materials.

Rental time includes the renter’s setup and cleanup time. Rental support staff are not responsible for the renter’s setup or cleanup but may assist with setup, breakdown, and facility-related needs as requested.

Additional setup or cleaning assistance, when requested and available, will be subject to an additional fee.

Payment & Staff Policy

UU Princeton rental support staff are engaged and paid by UU Princeton. Rental support staff do not act as independent contractors for the renter and may not accept payment directly from renters or event organizers.

All rental fees, staffing fees, cleaning fees, and any other charges must be paid directly to UU Princeton.

Any additional staffing, cleaning, setup requirements, or other fees will be discussed with the renter and agreed upon with UU Princeton in advance. Renters should not make separate payment arrangements with individual staff members.
