Children & Youth Ministry offers:

  • A heartfelt and deep understanding of Unitarian Universalist values, identity and history.
  • Familiarity with the sources of the UU faith tradition, including direct experience of transcendent wonder, words and deeds of prophetic people across cultures and traditions, wisdom from world religions, humanist perspectives honoring reason and science, and spiritual teachings of earth-centered and indigenous communities.
  • Exposure to spiritual practices you and your family might include as rituals and touch-points in your day-to-day life.
  • Avenues in which to place UU values into action through relationship building; anti-racism, anti-oppression, intersectional and environmental justice commitments; as well as volunteer opportunities and activities with local organizations and partners

We want our child(ren) to feel known, cared for, respected, and loved here at UU Princeton. We want them to make friends, have fun, and feel celebrated for who they are. The adults guiding our program are committed to being trusted, caring role models and mentors of integrity who are also just as ready to be silly and playful.
