Earth Day (April 22) is often urgently-observed with worrisome predictions. This is understandable, as environmental degradation worsens and there are many things that many must do to reverse the destruction. And yet, any progressive faith movement must be rooted in joy, beauty, and a sense of hope. Let’s us find those qualities in and of the earth, that they might deepen and make more sustainable our activism.
