Our faith affirms that we are of the same elements and forces as the rest of creation. We are of the earth, sky, water, and fire. We are one with nature. This embrace of interconnectedness leads us away from a sense of holding dominion over the earth and toward an ethic of praise and stewardship for nature and its innumerable gifts.
