The Universalist Church of America was founded in 1793; the American Unitarian Association, in 1825; and the two denominations merged in 1961, creating the Unitarian Universalist Association that we know today. Much has changed since those earlier days, and yet much also abides. Let’s look at who’ve we’ve been to better understand who we are, and are becoming.
