Always Awakening

Enlightenment in eastern thought sometimes means awakening to a sense of impermanence, which leads to a cessation of suffering, which makes life more peaceful and balanced. It’s a complicated, endlessly-debated concept that is embraced by practicing meditation and cultivating a sense of non-attachment. And it has much to offer a passionate, active, and engaged faith like Unitarian Universalism. This Sunday, we’ll explore why that is.
