Past, Present and Future – a Case for Changing Mindsets

Much is in the news lately about our current world problems – and there are tons of them. Are we really that bad? What does our future hold? I will examine just a few issues, focusing soon on poverty and women’s inequality, to make a case for a paradigm shift to adopting a fact driven, reason-based approach. A shift in our own mindsets. But this approach, while necessary for oneself, will not be sufficient if we want a better societal future. For that, shifting mindsets by adding empathy and listening to stories of those impacted will be crucial.
