The current political climate has many institutions scrubbing their communications of words and phrases that signal a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) values. This backlash signals the importance of those values, and will end up strengthening them, but not without our voices and effort. Let’s think about today’s bad words and how we can voice them with faith and love.
