200 Years of Freude

Imagine that it’s the spring of 1824 and we’re in Vienna for the premier performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. The Fourth Movement, ready to sweep us up toward Schiller and Beethoven’s renewed and exalted vision for humanity, is about to begin.

About Rev. Tiebout – After graduating from Princeton Theological Seminary, Mary visited this congregation and joined soon after. She was ordained as a UU minister in 1993, has served congregations in NJ and beyond, and is currently taking time off from ministry to help take care of her dad. Relevant to this day’s topic, singing in choirs has brought great joy to Mary’s life since she was 5.
