Welcome

Unitarian Universalism is an historic liberal religious tradition dedicated to honoring the sacred in every soul while building the beloved community on earth. In an “us vs. them” world, we affirm the unity of humanity and the interconnections of all life. Unlike many religious traditions, we have no creed, but value the wisdom inherent in all the world’s traditions. We seek to be a third way, not fundamentalism nor secularism, but an open and meaningful spiritual community committed to making the world a better place. We welcome all who aspire to such values.

Please feel free to enjoy our website and visit us on Sunday morning.

Lammas - Celebrating First Fruits with Games and Beer?

July 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Evergreen CUUPS will present our annual celebration of Lammas, also called Lughnasadh, the feast of the First Fruits of the Harvest.  York will present a reading on the Games of Lugh (the oldest known celebration of this holiday) and their modern relevance. York is a member of the congregation and of Evergreen CUUPS.  He is a physicist who has professionally studied the connections between physics and consciousness for two decades. We share Cakes and Ale to honor our ancestors and the grain harvest, and to remember the cycles of the planet and of ourselves. Non-alcoholic, yeast-free options will also be provided. Guest Worship Leaders: York Dobyns, Sally Walsh and other members of Evergreen, our CUUPS chapter       Worship Associate: Maggie Beaumont     Music:   CUUPS
