About Us
Find Us & You Shall Seek

Welcome

Unitarian Universalism is an historic liberal religious tradition dedicated to honoring the sacred in every soul while building the beloved community on earth. In an “us vs. them” world, we affirm the unity of humanity and the interconnections of all life. Unlike many religious traditions, we have no creed, but value the wisdom inherent in all the world’s traditions. We seek to be a third way, not fundamentalism nor consumerism, but an open and meaningful spiritual community committed to making the world a better place. We welcome all who aspire to such values.

Please feel free to enjoy our website and visit us on Sunday morning.

This Sunday's Service

Out Beyond Ideas

January 11, 2009 at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m.

Sufi poet Rumi wrote an extraordinary poem, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.  I'll meet you there."  Religious life tends to emphasize ideas, yet spirituality transcends beliefs, seeking to know the sacred directly.  How can we live a more spiritual life - out beyond ideas?  Today's service will feature the duet between Jill and Forrest Gilmore that had to be postponed back in November.

Worship Leader:  Rev. Forrest Gilmore
Worship Associate:  Ron Campbell
Music:  Beth Ertz, Marjorie Herman
