The Best Democracy Money Can Buy

Represent.Us/Central NJ and the Social Justice Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton present The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.  Rolling Stone investigative reporter Greg Palast brings this story of Corruption and “Dark” Money to the screen — revealing a stealth war against voters. Beginning in 2007, a program called the “Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck” was quietly put together in Kansas and then used by secretaries of state in 27 states to suppress and purge African American, Asian and Hispanic voters in what would almost certainly be the swing states of the 2016 election.

TV host and political commentator Thom Hartmann calls The Best Democracy Money Can Buy “a brilliant documentary.”  It’s entertaining too!  Come see for yourself.

Following the film, Represent.Us will lead a discussion about fixing our broken elections.
