Apr 6 Session one
will explore various definitions for spirituality that have been suggested
over the centuries. The two lead questions will be: Is any one definition for spirituality better than the next? Is there a single definition that catches the expression
of the others?

Apr 13 Session two
will lead with the following two questions: Why are people identifying
as spiritual but not religious? What are various theistic and non-theistic approaches to spirituality?

Apr 20 Session three
will explore the r ole of self and others in spirituality. This conversation will
center around topics of “awareness of the self,” “the need for community,” “connection with environment.”
Apr 27 Session four
will explore various practices for developing and deepening spirituality.
Our conversation will center around the disciplines of nature walks, meditation, fasting, prayer, and others.
